Harald marches forth with with his pack!

More wolves lope out of the mists surrounding the Fang!! This is the second pack, fluff and a wolf priest will be posted tomorrow :D enjoy spotting all the horrid mistakes and slip ups :P

The Pack - Hengist's Mob

The pack assembled, add in a rhino (many many hours of painting later i assure you) and they might be ready for the table top. Note that the old boy has ditched his power sword for a powerfist.

Two new Hunters enter the pack and Hengist the wolf guard :) - note the combimelta and thunderhammer!

Right then after what seems an eternity the Tau commander has been finished, for the eagle eyed amoung you'll notice that he is lacking his shield but this is due to the question of as to whether pete's original version is coherant with the rest of the model

Hope you like it... now i can get back to downing copious amounts of mead, shouting loudly, brawling and generally letting loose my inner wolf...... PRAISE RUSS AND THE ALLFATHER...... (sod the greater good :P)

P.s. I too have a little secret side project as now seems fashionable :P

Tau Commander Ready For Under Coat

Right then pete's kit posed and ready for an under coat, the nest few steps will be wacking on a base coat and generally getting stuck in.... here we go peeps, here we go :D

Pete's Tau Commander - Cleaning Phase - As complete as i can do to be able to post the pics tonight. Joints have been cleaned up to near as damn it the best of my ability, heavy and disconnected joints have been green stuffed (not on pics). Other mould lines and sprue joints have been cleaned and polished off. Might need to do a little more corner rounding and general smoothing to do the model justice and make the painting easier. Metal arm will be cleaned at a later date.... weekend probably.

More wolves emerge from the mists of the painting desk :P

Ok then so now we have a few more wolves to look at, the rest won't be coming for a bit due to the presence of a distinctly annoying volume of exams coming in january which require the necessary preperation.... also if anyone has any idea how to lay hands on very small magnets (about 2-3 mm diameter, depth about 1-2 mm) suitible for terminator magnetisation and how to do it please spill the beans :D
