Hammer of wrath comes to Fenris

A a howl of wind, a blur of grey... and suddenly the Wolves are among you!!

You may remember an earlier post centering around Morkai's new Blood Claw pack. Well with the use of a few magnets the young Wolves and their minders have been kitted out with Jump packs, although not without grumbling from the Wolf priest and the Wolf Guard. Also, the pack has been given a power axe and hence a little more grunt.

Although some of the poses are a little clumsy as a result of the magnets i'm really chuffed with this pack as it's been by far my largest project to date and has given me the choice of getting a large assault threat close to the opponent with or without the use of Land Raider... that and I've always loved the look of the jump packs.

The next project will involve some serious heavy hitters and much more howling.

A New Pack Is Brought In From The Wilderness of Fenris

Here we have the the first Blood Claw pack pictured individually and with their Land Raider Crusader transport. I've also magnetised the torsos such that that can be switched for Jump Pack torsos and backpacks so I don't have to paint another set of legs and arms for each Fenrisian youth. The Wolf Priest has also picked up a personalised and magnetised jump pack from the armoury. Hopefully the next project won't take a year...
